sIFR really solved a lot of problems for me. This fix drove me nuts until I got it working!

You are a lifesaver. The plugin has changed a bit since you wrote this post, but the general idea of moving things around is the same.

Just a note to others: you don’t need the Superfish plugin if you’re using your own CSS.

Hi Michael -

I agree it is probably stable by now, for sure.

But I have been using wp-spamfree now for quite awhile, and I find I have no need for Bad Behavior any longer. I have even disabled Akismet on all of my blogs.

I have another blog which gets a lot more traffic than this one, and using wp-spamfree has virtually eliminated spam even without akismet or any other spam plugin operating. Just wp-spamfree.

I second that, I use gmail ever since there it was in invitation only beta,etc. and it has always served me very well.

On the other hand I have a yahoo email for 10 years, and the management of spam is terrible, I systematically pushed the SPAM button for every spam email and I still receive daily african scam mails as well as emails written in russian or chinese..

I recommend this firefox add ons if you have several gmail accounts:
